The time had passed slowly for Lady Q'utaro since Jharu had left on his quest. She had spent much of it pampering her Lord to the best of her abilities, doing whatever she could to please him or make his life just that bit more pleasant. On the one hand she did this quite naturally, as she loved him beyond life itself. But if the truth of the deepest part of her heart were known-- which in all probablity it was to Recinis --she devoted her energies to him and him alone simply to keep herself from thinking that her son was all alone out there in the universe seeking to pass this rather stringent test of warriorhood.

Thus it was that she was in a somewhat cozy lounging nook in the great Weaponry Temple on Koris'ian, standing behind Recinis as he sat in a comfortable chair, a snifter of Sith brandy in hand. He took another nip of it and sighed, snuggling back into her small but adept hands as they kneaded and massaged the corded muscles of his neck and shoulders, pausing every so often to replace her fingers with her lips before straightening up and worrying at yet another discovered knot. The only lighting in this companionable little chamber was provided by wall sconces in the shape of Sith demons being slain by warriors, and the roaring fire which crackled in the hearth in front of them.

Graysith sighed again, and was in the act of bending down to perhaps nibble on Recinis's earlobe when she froze. Her fingers clenched, sinking into the skin of his shoulders and remained there with a grip of steel. She gasped.

"My love, it is Jharu!"

Letting her hands drop, she hurried around in front of Recinis and fell to her knees in front of him. From this position she reached up both hands to him, almost pleading, and laid them on his arms.

"He has gained the Temple in Phrinnchatka, but all is not well. He has yet to find Galen, Captain Danner has departed from his side, there are demons yet desecrating that wondrous city...

"...and Lord Aelvedaar remains aloof to his calls. He-- he--"

She broke off, her lips trrembling as she fought to hold back tears of compassion and motherly love which were threatening to burst forth. In fact, it was all she could do to remain where she was at all, and not simply rend the fabric of space and time and step through to the aid of their son.

"He seeks our help, my husband," she finally whispered in a shaky voice, then fell silent. Only by the degree in which her nails embedded themselves in the flesh of her husband's arms was her distress outwardly portrayed at all.

Though recinis held not the unbreakable bond shared by a mother and child, he too had sensed something reaching out to him... Some slight bit of saddness which wished to control his attention... And with jharmeens affirming that thier son was calling, his heart indeed skiped more then a single beat...

he looked down at her and nodded slowly...

"while I, as the warrior lord, Am unable to aid a warrior whom i have assigned a quest... And you as well, as the lady of the clan..."

He then stood, pulling her up with him and looking into her eyes. "No where within all the pages writen by centuries of sith sorcerers, does it mention one word, of the parrants of that warrior assisting when a request is made... After all... Is it not the wisest of warriors, who knows when he is in need of help? Pride is indeed a fierce beast to overcome... But it appears our dear Jharu has mastered his wits..."

he nodded once more before continueing "i do believe it is your strength within him that allows him such... it is time jharu recieves that which he requests... let us go to him at once..."

Graysith scarcely took the time to nod in return but merely turned in her husband's arms, now calling out to that which had been placed within her and she taught to command by Lord Aelvedaar. The Glyph on her forehead ravened into obedient life as, with more of a clawing motion than wave of a hand she literally rent the fabric of space and time and hurried to step therein, even as that great rendering was yet being formed.

Recinis, one strong hand held within her other one, followed behind, bringing the mysterious opening in the essence of reality to a close in his wake....

Yawning, Jasyn Lancaster rolled over lazily on the plush bed in the quarters he'd chosen in the Sith Temple on Korris'sian. At some point he'd realized that he was "home alone" so to speak, or at least, it appeared he was alone. And although this Sith city was smaller than that of Prinn'chatka, it was still nothing to sneeze at in regards to size, so someone could still be here...

...somewhere.

Jasyn cracked one eye open, and looked at the somewhat blurred ceiling blankly.

Where the Hell had the Boss said he was going again...?

Ah well. Everyone would pop up sooner or later. And one thing was for damn sure, being stuck alone in this rather lavish Sith City beat the Hell out of Imperial prison, no matter how much these Sith creeped him out. And what the hell, while he was laying here, all alone and nothing to do...

He reached for another bottle of the stash of Sith brandy he'd...appropriated from somewhere in the depths of the Temple, popped the cork, and took a good swig.

Damn. This stuff was sure good. Reminded him of a song from back home:

"Oh give me a home where the dewbacks do roam,
Where the worrts and the rontos do play...
Where Whyrene's reserve is a staple to serve
And Ale is the soup of the day.

Corellia! Where the worrts and the rontos do play...
Where Whyrene's reserve is a staple to serve
And Ale is the soup of the day!"

Someone better get back here before all the brandy on planet was gone...

(((OCC: Thanks go to Graysith for most of the revised lyrics to "Home on the Range")))
