Along the way she rescued the bounty hunter Sorben Tarnus from the evil clutches of Darth Wicked. During their encounters with one self-acclaimed Sith Lord and another, they fell in love. Galen became pregnant; because she was exposed to ancient Sith magicks at the dig where her sister "became" Graysith, her child is destined to be extremely powerful in the Force.

With dark entities out to "get" her baby, Galen realizes she cannot place her love, Sorben, in this kind of jeopardy. She leaves him voluntarily, seeking any kind of sanctuary where she can have and raise her child safely, and in the "lightside" of the Force.

Primarily, she is hiding from her sister, now known as Graysith, who at first was out to kill her, but now seeks her to take her unborn child from her.

Galen is short and athletic, with "hair the color of a Tatooine sunset" cut short, and big brown eyes. She is 29 years old.
