Rhua Ki is a senior research scientist from the primary stilt city on Kamino. While his field of expertise in the medical field is surgery, and gene splicing and artificial chromosomal enhancement in that of genetics, he is surprisingly knowledgeable in the field of natural history. This latter is a passionate hobby with him, and due to his high station on Kamino, he has upon occasion been granted several sojourns off-planet to the galactic capitol of Coruscant. There he studied for a total of four years, once by the procurement of a two-year sabbatical; during these days he managed to hop hither and yon throughout the Core Worlds gathering up as much information as he possibly could.
Somewhat direct in his speech and seemingly cold of heart and logical of mind, Rhua Ki nevertheless holds a deeply hidden warmth towards others within him, and seeks to understand and assist other beings not of his own race in a manner not quite as mercenary as other Kaminoans. He was the primary Kaminoan working with Dark Lord Roan, in charge not only of all “dispositions” concerning Galen Jhin’Dar Danner when Dark Lord Roan sent her to Kamino, but directing procedures directed toward any others Roan had sent to that water world. He is typical of his race, standing a good seven feet tall. He is intelligent, pale, thin, and the possessor of unusually slender fingers, making him adept in surgery as well as, surprisingly enough, quite a good player of the Bithian fanfar.
