K'kihl is a Verpine, one of a race who have colonized the Roche asteroid. Rather tall and thin, he is insectoid in appearance with articulated limbs and a chitinous shell. His head is somewhat on the order of the shape of a grasshopper's, with two antennae, a short snout, forward facing eyes, and mandibles. He has two primary arms each ending in a three-clawed appendage, and has a secondary and smaller set which he usually just keeps tucked out of the way. He walks upright, and wears a tool belt in which various and sundry engineering tools are carried.K'kihl had long been the companion of Sorben Tarnus during the time before that bounty hunter had risen to the seat of power he now holds. He accompanied him in many engagements, and in the process met Galen Jhin'Dar, who was out hunting for her sister Jharmeen-aka-Graysith. Along the way, Galen and Sorben parted ways, and Sorben left K'kihl in order to seek out Galen alone. It was then that K'kihl met up with Yaoksi Joao, and traveled with him, in the process being reunited with Galen and winding up working on her super star destroyer, Hornett. Verpine communicate with each other in radio waves, but can speak with a kind of clicking accent in Basic. They are experts in most fields of technology, and are renown throughout the galaxy as top-gun starship builders. Their keen eyesight helps them spot microscopic details, such as hairline fractures, thus making their presence aboard ships acrucial one. Verpine helped Admiral Ackbar design and build the B-wing fighter.
