Helvetica is a planet in the same nearby galaxy which spawned the Yuuzhan Vong. Being a follower of the Dark Side of the Force, and being naturally affinitive to it, he is a self-taught Sith Lord whose powers are on the same level of a Dark Lord of the Sith in the Galaxy inhabited by George Lucas' characters and their peers. Additionally, he has approached the Yuuzhan Vong, seeking to make himself even stronger. He was welcomed by them and underwent some of their basic biogenetic engineering; he then became strong enough to elevate himself to the same level within their domain as was Darth Vader in the days of the Old Empire. Now with the Vong, he seeks vengeance against the galaxy which repelled the initial Vong invasion (here we assume that this is the direction in which the NJO books will go). He is currently en route there with a small task force, to determine the best manner in which another Vong invasion might be implemented. His primary interest is to rid the SW Universe of all known Sith Lords who might oppose him and his forces; he has "sensed" the presence of Graysith, who to him has only been "revealed" as being a dark essence with the capability to totally cloak it's full identity from him. So his mission is three-fold: to determine a better way to invade the Galaxy; to destroy any Sith Lords or Darths he may encounter; and to determine who or what this mysterious being is who eludes him.

Abaddonis stands a full two and a half meters tall, is powerfully muscled and highly intelligent. His skin is snow white; his hair is long and flowing and is a pure silver in color. His eyes have been altered by the Vong by the infusion of natural elements; they now have the ability to see in the far infrared as well as in the shorter wavelengths above ultraviolet. Once black, they now boast chrome irises with electric blue pupils. Thorny corals have been deeply implanted on his hands and wrists, and larger ones as well on his shoulders. Their root systems constantly grate against his bones and joints, offering him constant pain by which he can channel his dark energies to even greater levels than if he were not so augmented. The thorns and eyes are the extent of the biogenetic engineering he has undertaken by the Vong.
