ummm 80's? naw, all about the 70's, carles dougles, kung fu fighting.... *sings* "every body was kung fu fighting, those kicks were fast as lightning, in fact, it was a little bit frightning, but they fought with expert timing, its an ancient chinnies art, and every body knew thier part, from a fainting and a slip, to a kick in from the hip" i havnt listened to it in a while, so if i got a few lines wrong, well...

Although I am a child of the 90s, there are too many 80s artists that I like to mention them all, but off the top of my head, this is what I came up with...

Chicago
AC/DC
Guns and Roses
Queen
Eagles
Phil Collins
Run DMC
Poison

I'll probably add more later

Oh yeah, I guess you can consider Pink Floyd an 80s artist as well.

Somewhat on the lines of this topic...

You know you lived in the 80s if:

·You know what "Sike" means.
·You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, Wax off."
·You know who Mr. T is.
·You once wore fluorescent clothing.
·You believed that "By the power of Greyskull," you HAD the power!
·Partying "like it's 1999" seemed SO far away.
·You knew that knowing was half the battle.
·You can remember Michael Jackson when he was black.
·You remember the Garbage Pail Kids, and owned some.
·You remember when ATARI was a state of the art video game system.
·You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins, A-Team, Knight Rider, or Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox.
·You know what leg warmers are.
·Girls wore biker shorts underneath a short skirt and felt stylish.
·You wore your Izod shirt with the collar up.
·You remember when Happy Meals came in a box, not a paper bag.
·You recorded songs off the radio with your boom box.
·You had to get off the couch to change the channel.
·You know that another name for a keyboard is a "synthesizer."
·You actually thought Dirty Dancing was a REALLY good movie.
·You know who Max Headroom is.

--------------------

All in all it was just another brick in the wall,
all in all you were just another brick in the wall.

And Taehun, it is really scary how many of those 80's things I am very familiar with. I think there are about 2 I wasn't as familiar with, but for the most part...

God, I'm getting so old they've got the "You know you were" lists out for people my age now...

*listening to Knight Rider theme*

Come on... Dirty Dancing was for girls... and Happy Meals were served in boxes for most of the 90's, if I remember correctly...

And btw, who in the world was Mr. T??

*Insert Sike here*

I wont even go near the garbage pail kid statement... I didn't want them, like, it was totally my sister's idea, for sure...

Looks like it's been a while since anyone has posted a reply to this... I am a HUGE 80's music fan!!! The best song to come out of the 80's is "Take On Me" by AH-HA. Later redone by A-1 (poorly, I might add). That list of 80's stuff... I know it all... I also remember that George Michael was one of the FRONT MEN for WHAM! But I stopped liking George Michael when his Earrings got bigger than my MOM's. Best Movie to come out of the 80's RETURN OF THE JEDI!!! *what a no brainer* Has anyone seen the A-Team reruns on TNN??? What a crew, Face, Hanibal, (Howling Mad) Murdock, and of course Mr.T himself B.A. Barakus. And to anyone who doesn't know... Max Headroom is the Computer generated head that s..s...ss....stutters alott..tt..tt. *lol*

Hey were Abba and Village People late 70s or 80? I don't know, but whenever they were I like 'em, heh.
