Feileacan is 3000 years old, but has never ventured far from her Father's home in the Wydde Wood. He is a member of the Court at the Moon's Keep, but she preferes to "play" in the forest alone or with her friend Eala, a swan, who lives in the river and pond beside Feileacan's house.

She has golden hair to her waist and soft grey blue eyes that are the only indication of her true age. She is skilled with a bow and with Elven knives but preferes not to use them if confrontation is in anyway avoidable. She is blissfully ignorant of the "modern" world around her, choosing to study only the Lays of the First Age, but this might change with her encounter with the Daughter of the Moon.
