Within this place of heart spilled blood
Love flows deep through the crackling mud.
Pain, a scar, and fire burns bright
To bring upon us dawns first light.
This land doth know those tales untold
The heroes bold, in eyes now closed.
And we go on without a clue
Without that spark of love… For you.
You gave your life so ours might live,
And for you comes no pang of ribs
Forgotten now are your deeds
But this land remembers the heart that bleeds
And in our minds there lies a spark
To remember your tales, and hear your cries
To see the look in dying eyes…
