Here is a perfect example of collaboration in progress. Open threads were available, yet members ignored the suggestion I made in this thread, coming here instead as their own little group to do their own little thing.True role play, in its most ideal form, would actually mean that nobody knows anyone, and all reaction to what is happening in play is therefore a true one, going on the "instincts" of the character who is reacting. Easier to do when no one keeps in touch with others while the role play is in progress. A good example was way back when Darth Wicked began all this, before the Pod. I wrote, a week would pass, he would reply, I would think of a reply in turn. I did not have a clue who he was... but that first thread was great, not to mention being role play in its truest form. Which is difficult to do now, since everybody here gets to know everybody their characters are involved with. Also, groups coming here together, as indicated above (and as what proved to be true) tend to "stick" together, ignoring the input of other people trying to enter into their thread. Unfortunately that did happen with this lot, who just as unfortunately do not role play here any longer. -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!
