Lava tubes are tubes formed in cooling lava through which molten lava still flows. Eventually the lava is spent, and the tube remains behind as a type of tunnel beneath the surface. Openings are usually exposed by erosion or seismic activity.

Thus the lava tube leading to "another one of Sullust's underground worlds" does NOT lead into anywhere inhabited or civilized. Just into a labyrinth of old lava tubes which snake all over the place underground.

Just FYI.
