Well gang, just recently layers of sedimentary rock have been discovered on Mars. Why all the excitement, you might ask? Well, this pretty much substantiates the case for water once existing on the surface of Mars, and probably in fairly large quantities to form such rock!Speaking of water, we know the Martian ice caps consist of frozen water ice. Also, Mars is red due to the present of iron oxide (rust) probably in the form of iron ores, like we have here on earth. With water and iron ore available, Mars does have the resources to support a colony... should we ever get there! ------------------ [monger=000FFF,FFF000]"I Ride the Stormcloud and the Night!"[/monger]
