About 2,100 light-years away in the constellation Ophiucus, a pair of stars dances dangerously close. The stronger partner may be robbing its mate of material and flinging it like a disc into space. Astronomers estimate gas is being expelled from this butterfly nebula at more than 200 miles per second.

Also, this system is probably a good candidate of going nova some day (and creating a "bubble" of expanding gas around itself. The star "stealing" the matter will eventually gain so much mass that a surface nuclear explosion will be triggered.*
