About 2,100 light-years away in the constellation Ophiucus, a pair of stars dances dangerously close. The stronger partner may be robbing its mate of material and flinging it like a disc into space. Astronomers estimate gas is being expelled from this butterfly nebula at more than 200 miles per second.
