OK, guys, you know the drill! Another CME (coronal mass ejection) was exploded from the sun today as a solar filament collapsed, triggering the event, sending protons and other particles heading our way. Look for aurora in the midlatitudes the night of October 12th; last CME triggered aurora in the northern tier and Canada. (Rained here in Iowa, but I don't think it extended this far south then.) Watch the Sky!

Ok, a friendly reminder: tonight's the night to look for aurora! Go check the skies to the north around midnight local time (the best time to view; however any time after sunset is OK).
