TextI've only recently got internet access at home and when browsing on ebay the other day I came across vcd/dvd's of both the holiday special and the original trilogy. Apparently the original trilogy was released as a limited edition in Malaysia and it is official. As for the holiday special, being a Brit I've never seen it. It was never aired over here, and having just checked ebay again, it's going for about £5 (about $3.40 I think).

Any movie you buy from Malaysia is pirated. If there was a garuntee on the quality, I would have already bought AOTC from someone over there, but you can never tell. Just remember though, you're taking a risk buying from any south east asian country, cause it's all pirated.

I hear the Holiday Special was really lame, but I still want a copy.

It's promised as the genuine article but you never can tell! I haven't ordered it or anything, I thought I'd wait until the George Lucas God deigns it legal!
