Being the embodiment of Evil, he loves pain, and wants nothing more than to bring it to every sentient being in the Universe. Thus under the traitorous command of Lord Roan he has joined forces with Abaddonis, and is en route to the SW Galaxy with his small but formidable contingent.

Maladius has the use of the All at his command to the extent that he can open doorways within and transport himself immediately across great distances. He is blindingly fast, and can out-maneuver the fastest and most powerful Force-user. He usually exists as a sort of "shade" or "ghost," with only the barest outline of his physical form, but he has to be in his physical form to attack anyone. In that form, while fast and deadly, he is not impervious; if one can successfully predict his next move he can be overcome. (For example, Dark Lord Rean did manage to take hold of him and toss him into a lava river on Sullust before he reverted to his shadowy form and hot-footed it back to Roan.) He also doesn't hang around long in his physical form, for it is tiring for him to maintain it. His modus operandi is to basically "sneak up, hit, and run."
