A tear fell from the azure eyes of Paladin and landed in the dust and stone of the floor of the ancient Masassi temple. His hand held the cold hand of a fallen Jedi Knight. He stared at the heap of flesh and black robes that sat a few feet away. It was what remained of a Dark Jedi Master who had led a strike team against the embassy of Jedi. He had killed him in a one-on-one epic battle that had caused even the other Jedi, dark and light, to stop and watch.Paladin's double-bladed saber, "Darksbane", and the Dark Jedi's own saber flashed and illuminated the entire temple. They clashed in flashes of golden light. Finally, as Paladin leapt over the other's attack, he swept the saber through and finished with a spinning kata that destroyed the dark one completely...
He blinked to dampen the memory. He pulled out the datapad that held his the details of his mission. He looked up to the sky and began calling the other survivors to him.
"We haven't got the time to return to the Enclave. We must press on to the rumored planet of Rag'sassi'tel to put a stop to this hidden Alliance of Dark Ones. If you wish not to press on, then you should leave now, you must want to fight the darkness to be of use to our cause." He paused and looked around with his blazing azure eyes, they were said to strike fear into the heart of even the greatest of Dark Jedi Lords. He waited for those who wanted to press on to come forward...
