OK, are there any other "geeks n' phreaks" out there besides me who think the absolutely most positively one hundred percent awfullest sci-fi movie ever to "grace" the big screen (and I use the term lightly) was "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?"

This thing makes "Mars Attacks!" look good, and was so nasty that it raised a cult and is considered "good" in some circles for its awfulness...

Conversely, the best sci-fi movie ever made, IMHO, and the one that took the genre into the realm of "reality" is none other than my favorite (yes, I said that!): "2001: A Space Odyssey."

Don't everyone throw those killer tomatoes at me all at once, please...

Ducks, and runs for cover....

But you have to admit "Mars Attacks!" was kinda geeky. I enjoyed it too... in a tongue-in-cheek kinda way. But you haven't seen BAA-AAA-AAAD until you've seen "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes." It ranks Numero Uno for Awfuldom if only because of it's sound track...!
