Jonovar made his living in the smuggling buisness, just like his father before him. However, unlike his father, he lacked the skill and finess needed for smuggling. Though he is a skillful pilot and very eloquent, he was unable to make his fortune in the trade. Frustrated, Rathal agreed to transport a consignment of spice, a far to dangerous mission for someone of his level. He was captured and encarcerated on Coruscant. During the Admiral's take over of Coruscant. For a time he flittered from system to system in his stolen Headhunter until his scanty funds ran short. He makes his way in the world now as a bounty hunter, a profession he is far better suited for. Ironically he himself has a bounty on his head, though not a particularly large one. Such is the life of Jonovar Rathal.
