The Vorpal is a 10 meter long, by 15-5 meters wide, to 2 meters tall fighter craft. This archaic yet elegant ship can reach atmospheric speeds of 0-100,000 kph, and a sublight speed of 0- 200,000 kph. Its hyperdrive is a class 0.5, this ship has a single cockpit wghich can seat 2 beings. Twelve Manuvering wings are on the starboard and port sides, 6 per side. One large set and one smaller set, each wing has a mauvering jet for optimal agility. This ship is designed around a single turbolaser in the nose, he barrel assembly itself is 4 meters long. Complimenting the Turbolaser are two twin blaster cannons for dogfights. 4 seperate shield generators complete the Vorpal's delicate yet brutal design. 4 main drive engines help provide the awesome speed, each has servomotors which allow it for even more complicated manuvers, and each main drive has an accessory drive which auguments the ship's evasion speed. THe is a small cargo compartment in the center of the four main drives for smuggling, or even sophisticated jamming systems. A well balanced ship which can score significant hits on capital ships and destroy fighters as easily. The Turbolaser can power up a single shot every 30 seconds, it has slightly more power than a capital ship laser, which means it can punch through weaker shields and blast durasteel into particles. THe Vorpal Orchid is a truly deceptive ship decorated with 'petals' of durasteel armor. It has Ray and particle shielding and can have any combination with its generators. THe main wings can collapse from the maximum width of 15 to a minimal 5 meters for tight manuvers and pinpoint firing. This is the Vorpal Orchid.
