Za'in Almar

One of the engineers on the team that created one of the fastest ships in all the Rims, the Eagle Star and native of Ord Mantell. He only an adolescence was on the team mainly because of his father being the captian. During one of the normal work days that drew closer to the end of the project which was requested by the Hutts for ''buisness'' Za'in's father was working on the hyperdrive inside the ship when it malfuctioned.

One of the circuits were the cause, and because of it, the engine exploded in his face, killing him instantly. Za'in was dumbfound and placed ina time of misery. Searching for some comfort he wandered through the attic for his father's things. During one of his scavenger hunts of the old junk he found an elegant hilt, black and polished.

When he asked his mother what it was, the awnser was a long and shocking one. His father was once a Jedi Master at the Academy, and so was his father before him. The boy never believed in the ''Force'', mainly because his father always told him not to.

But why?

Za'in never really regrouped from the shock, and had trouble understanding why his father never told him about it, but it was the most comforting item he had. Keeping it close to him at all times, he attached it to his waist.

When taking the spot as Captian of the project, he didn't do it anymore for the Hutts but for his father. Working on it all the time, he finally finished it a year after his father death. Only 16 at the time he stole the ship from the Hutt Faction and began smuggling items to planets he had heard from visitors that were low on resources.

Za'in wanted to make a difference in life, just as his father had done as a Jedi. It would seem that he would go down the Knight path, but he couldn't fully embrace the Force as being all about him, though he saw flickers of it in himself. When the Praxuem was destroyed it seemed to lift something off him, as though now he wouldn't have to feel as though he needed to do it.

Soon after the Praxuem was destroyed by the Empire, he found his face on the HoloNet as one of the new big bounties, which only seemed to grow as he began smuggling more food to needy planets. Organizations which were under control of the planets seemed to hate him for it and since he stole the ship from the Hutts he didn't even have the underworld to turn to for work. Running for months upon months, he has taken up odd jobs to maintain maintence on his ship.

Before he joined the E.E Coporation, he was normally seen in underworld catina's learning the tricks of the trade and the ways of the underworld. Tainted by both the light path of smuggling goods and that of the underworld, he can manage to wiggling his way out of every situation.
