Why did Yoda suddenly believe that the confrontation with Darth Vader would end Luke's training if Luke had already came to Darth Vader.

You may immeditately say that they were on different terms, but if Yoda knew that they were on different terms why didn't he know anything about Darth Vader telling his son the truth of his origin. If he had his mind spread out in such range, why didn't he know?

Also, how do you think Luke changed between those times to even believe that they were on different terms, and Luke of ht epast was different then the present. (Return of the Jedi)
