I intented to watch the simpsons and i found a game show called "the chamber" where they torture some guy into answering questions for money. this is "the running man" it an all new low.

GREAT from the viewpoint of a Sith, but I agree... for humanity it has indeed reached a new height in depravity. Methinks our society is beginning to tread in the footsteps of the Caesars.

You know, speaking of Roman history, bloody and violent gladiatorial games became popular about the time the Roman Empire started to really go downhill (bad emperors and the like). And personally, I think shows like this one are our modern-day version of gladiators.

Just some food for thought...

Ummm... it was in particular regard to the Circus and its games that I made reference to the Caesars. Thanks for the clarification in case I was to vague.

Ok, I just saw the show. At least I saw one contestant get frozen half to death. That is really, really, REALLY disturbing...
