Mission Impossible

E.T.

Dracula (1979, John Williams)

Indiana Jones

Fame

Friends (I'll be There for You by the Rembrandts)

Flying Dreams (from Secret of NIMH)

*****P.S. Can I suggest, before we have 500 different threads on "your favorite..." and "your favorite..." that we sort of compile all of these things into one thread? i.e. "Your Favorite theme song thread", then ask something to the effect of...

Your favorite theme...

From a movie?
TV Show?
etc...

This way we don't have a bajillion threads in here where no one can find anything. We should have done this with the favorite movies (horror, drama, comedy...) too, but I didn't think of this then.

Umm... there was really no point for that... I don't think there was anything else 'favorite' to post...

And with the movies, I didn't want it in one thread... whenever someone asks favorite movies in one thread, there are just too many...

and... shouldn't that 'P.S.' have been a 'P.M.'... just curious...

Hmmm... there are so many.

I love the theme from Babylon 5, and the theme from Voyager, and Hawaii 5-0. And the one from "X-Files!" Then there are the themes from "Antarctica," and "Chariots of Fire," both done by Vangelis. Oh yeah, who can forget that from "2001: A Space Odyssey?" I know there's many more; lemme think of them....

Princess Bride theme is great... but the best lines in the movie are by the PRIEST... "MAWIGE is Whot bwings us togeffer today. MAWIGE, dat bwessed awangement...
And WOVE... Twue WOVE, will fowwow you foweva today!" LMAO!!!
My Favorite movie theme song is "Can't buy me love" from the movie of the same title. Starring Patrick Dempsey, Seth Green, and that blond guy from TOUR OF DUTY!

Yeah, the sad thing is Seth Green's had a much better career than Patrick Dempsey...

You pretty much got the synopsis down pat, but it is only $1000.00 I thought I was the only one who actually liked the movie enough to remember the story line!!! *LOL*

Loban

posted 02-09-2003 06:19 PM
yeah, sad thing is I even remember the ending when they're on the riding lawnmower... riding off into the sunset...

But, what has Dempsey done since then? other than that pizza boy/male gigolo...

Anyway, Seth Green is the man... Patrick Dempsey, not so much, no...

Unlike our little debate in SW vs. ST I can't argue with the SETH GREEN statement!!! He kicks @$$ as SCOT EVIL!!!

'riiiiight...

I had the group liquidated... they were insolent...'

wait a tick, that was Dr. Evil... oh well, I'm sure he had a good line too...

but, the funny thing is, Carrie Fisher played the counselor... and was 'liquidated'... I guess she finally knows how Harrison Ford felt at the end of ESB?

Hey LOBAN... you might want to check out "Sweet Home Alabama." Patrick Dempsey does some pretty sweet acting alongside REESE WITHERSPOON!!! REESE is a better co-star than anyone from SETH's movies!
