For the sake of role play, here is info regarding what planet is blockaded and who has what Imperial vessels nearby or in orbit. CORUSCANT: Massively blockaded by a double layer of Imperial ships. Interior ships have tractor beams laced to prevent entry or departure in any means other than with Imperial permission. A group of dreadnaughts and super star destroyers patrol in the second, outer-most layer. The SSD flagship, Catalytic is under the auspices of Captain Sarontogo. OBRA-SKAI: Captain Jissel aboard Todthund, Imperial dreadnaught. The planet is now blockaded by an Imperial fleet. KHAR DELBAN SYSTEM: Captain Landarian aboard the Imperial flagship Relentless, leads a massing reconnaissance group to "keep tabs" on this otherwise uncharted portion of space. Generally speaking, incoming ships are allowed entry. Out-going are tractored automatically. They "haunt" a sector of space just beyond the sensor range of 99% of all craft, in the Z-axis of the Khar Delban system. (Think "up" above the plane of the planets' orbits.) Update: as of July 16, 2003, the planets of Khar Delba and K'eel Doba are officially blockaded by Imperial ships led by the flagship Relentless. TATOOINE: Major General Ahem aboard Sormontato leads a large group of support SSDs, star destroyers, transports and carriers, and troops numbering into the tens of thousands. This large blockade is the source for the mediating ground battalion Lt. General Tarnus has set up in response to the development of the New Jedi Praxeum on this desert planet. It is appropriately large due to its remote location in the Outer Rim.
Other lesser planets are likewise patrolled by Imperial ships, of course, but none have been actively named yet. The ones above are the important blockade/ships/captains/ etc. So to all role players, just don't think you can sky into a planetary system without at least making mention of a patrolling Imperial ship. That was Admiral Actar's modus operandi, after all. Update: The SSD Sormontato, with General Ahem in charge, has come from Tatooine to Sullust on the trail of Aelly Ssyn: the CEO of Dark Star Corp, a corporation which the Empire has come to believe is a front for the notorious Black Sun syndicate. Upon arrival, relations between him and Ssyn escalated; he captured her dreadnaught, but she escaped. Following her ion trail, Sormontato came to where it was abruptly truncated by another ion trail, which they then followed to its destination: Sullust. General Ahem and Sormontato come to Sullust, to try to piece together what is happening, still on the trail of Aelly Ssyn, per the orders of Lt. General Sorben Tarnus, who is still in Khar Delban space. [ 06-06-2006 10:13 PM: Message edited 1 time, lastly by Graysith ] |
