Greetings! ~ and welcome to the Role Playing Boards of the Pod! If you are browsing here now...yes, right now! one might assume that you are considering jumping into the fray with the rest of us, but perhaps aren't quite certain as to what is going on, and how you can fit yourself in. Fear not, intrepid writer: it's not as intimidating as it might appear. Read on, and you'll understand....First of all please realize: this is on-going, interactive role playing in the format of writing. Our story takes place in the Universe of Star Wars. This is not "gaming," per se, as there are no "attributes" one's character is specifically endowed with, and we do not roll any dice to determine the direction in which events will proceed. All is determined by the writing, and responses of characters to what is/has been written. I like to think this is kinda like when we were kids and "played pretend." Heh. Only we write out what we see enacted in our heads. We do have a few rules to adhere to; please read them in the RP Headquarters forum... along with the timeline. PLEASE NOTE: The time is in the future. That is, after the movies, after ANY AND ALL books. This way we can refer back to characters and so on, but do not role play them. We create our own. As the role play opens, there is no Empire in control nor a really strong New Republic, as yet. All are factions scattered throughout the galaxy. We'll see where this leads us. OK, secondly, it is recommended that you pop over to "Character Descriptions" forums and read through the brief descriptions of all the characters who have had input into our storyline. This is easier than me trying to go through all of them here. If you do decide to join in our fun, please add a short description and maybe a little background information of your character. You can create however many you please!*Crosses fingers in the hopes that someone will bring a couple Darths into this story line...* OK, now in a nutshell, here is a synopsis of what is going on so far, and the order in which you might find it. Since all forums are concurrent, characters can leap from one forum into another, depending on where they are in the Galaxy. Some threads might not readily show when you go into their forums; just go to the little browser at the bottom and scroll to "show all topics." They'll pop up. Now, I'll do my best not to confuse you here...: The story begins in Complete SW Universe in the thread, "Intermission." This introduces my characters Galen and Graysith. From here go to the Jedi Praxeum and Sith Temple forum. There, the thread, "Out With The Old, In With The New" introduces most of the other characters in this story, giving a little background. In this thread, Galen en route to seeking haven on Yavin 4, (and being followed by her Sithster Graysith) is captured by the nasty Gouyen Chee for bringing harm to Chee's "blood-oath sister," Graysith. Galen is rescued by Admiral Actar, who she doesn't trust, and from whom she escapes, finally reaching Yavin 4. The Jedi (Jeroc and Cella) and their students (Logan and Shayla, and a very young Thea) are introduced. Graysith arrives and attempts a diversion so she can snag Galen: she kidnaps Shayla. Admiral Actar arrives and once again rescues Galen. Graysith, angered, sends Shayla to the Sith Sorcerer, Aelvedaar, and pursues Actar. Jeroc and the others take off to try to find Shayla. Multiple branching off now follows: Galen's experiences with Actar and escape are recounted in "Ambria Headquarters" in the Empire and New Republic forum. There she is taken on by Terrin Danner, who had "business" to attend to with the local moff regarding Shayla, and, when not getting anywhere, leaves in disgust. He takes on Galen to be his pilot, and brings her to his fleet. Their portion of this storyline continues in "To The Other Side Of The Universe" in the Complete SW Universe forum. Meanwhile, the Jedi split up in the hopes of being able to more easily find the missing Shayla. The story of Cella, and her linking up with the smuggler Yaoksi Joao is told in "Out With The Old," and continues in "Rendezvous on a Rogue Moon" in the Empire and New Republic Forum. In this thread, all the pursuers finally come together, still seeking Shayla. Yaoksi reluctantly leaves; follow him to "Stranger Than Fiction" thread in Complete SW universe forum. Here he ironically takes on as a new partner the Verpine "K'Kihl," who was the former partner to the bounty hunter Sorben Tarnus (Galen's first love and father of her child. See character descriptions). Here too, still seeking crew members, he begins a tempestuous "relationship" with the Twi'lek Naisra'len, the best gunner in the Galaxy. (This is a sideline which may or may not join with the ongoing main story.) OK, so we have Jedi hot on the trail of a missing Shayla. We have Graysith after her sister, who has joined up with Terrin Danner and "his" fleet. In another "character entrance thread," we meet Erik Kartan, Shayla's love who is desperate to find her. He goes out with some of their joint fleet, seeking her as well. This can be found in the "Love is Eternal" thread in the Complete SW Universe forum. And what has happened to Shayla? Woven throughout the "Out With The Old" and "Ambria Headquarters" is the tale of how a "discarded" Shayla is flung to Aelvedaar, the Sith Sorcerer, after having her memories ripped from her by Graysith. He has no need of her, and traps her into the "Elseness," that moment and place in/of spacetime existing between one second and the next. There she undergoes painful self-inspection, as well as coming to terms with deeply-rooted senses of being abandoned. Graysith plucks her from that horrid state, returns her memories, and proceeds to try to persuade her into learning of her ways regarding the Force. Shayla finally accepts the offer, feeling no one else cares about her. Graysith continues with her persuasions, finally breaking through to Shayla in the "Great Temple At Khar Delba" thread in the Jedi Praxeum and Sith Temple forum. Shayla begins to learn from Graysith, much to the dismay of the Jedi who are fast approaching Khar Delba to "rescue" her, as are with Erik and Terrin et al. OK, that's about it for a brief (!!!) synopsis of what's been going on here for about a year, hehe. Oh yeah... head on over to the Complete SW Universe forum and read the very short thread, "Standing at the Edge of Forever." Here comes a brand new character, ready to interact... hehehe. *evil laugh* Who knows where he'll go or what he'll do; at this time he's still in inter-galactic hyperspace. All I'll say here is that his name is Abaddonis, and he is a Darth... who has joined with the Yuuzhan Vong, and of course has been biogenetically engineered by them. Hehehe... It is our hopes that this synopsis has perked your interest enough that you create your own characters and join us in the wonderful world of Star Wars Online Interactive Role Play! You don't have to be a writer to join us... just someone who has a love of Star Wars, as well as a love of pretending! Please register, and come on in! The water's FINE!! OK this story has gone into some interesting directions since the first synopsis was posted. Since MANY threads have been written, and there are "go to's" at the end of each closed thread, I will not lead the reader through them. The gist of what has happened is written here:The Jedi came to Khar Delba, but did not succeed in getting Shayla from the side of Graysith. Meanwhile, she was visited one night by a mysterious figure, the Krath Prophet Azrakel Verastin, who led her to the deserted world of Tyrene and there proceeded to prophesize mysterious forthcomings, all linked to her past in a manner she hasn't yet been able to figure out. While on Tyrene she was suddenly confronted by another Dark figure, Dark Lord Roan, who she invited back to the Temple on Khar Delba. There the figure revealed himself (falsely) as being the "original" Darth Wicked (Wicked himself having been disclosed as being a clone created by Timber Saden in a looooong ago thread, "Fall of a Dark Lord" in SW Universe). Blinded by the joy that her Dark Heart has returned, she believes him, and with a little help from Aelvedaar (Sith Sorcerer, see descriptions) became pregnant by Roan. Meanwhile, Terrin et. al. have joined forces with Yaoksi, K'khil and Nassy, who agree to offer them transport when their ship is undergoing repair. They retreat to Sullust, to hide in their subterranean cities and enjoy their hot spas, waiting for Galen to have her baby. While there, Dark Lord Roan disguises himself as Terrin and "forcefully" pulls a faerie changeling routine: he implants Graysith's growing infant within Galen, and departs with her child. This unborn child is placed in a Sith incubator and watched over by Aelvedaar, unbeknownst to everybody except himself and Lord Roan. Galen has no clue whatsoever except that she has been "taken advantage of." She begins to retreat from her friends. Enter (rather mysteriously) Master Rean, a supposed Jedi Master sent from the Council to assist them. Between him and Nassy, Galen begins to be finally healed. However, in the process, his prowess with The All is also revealed: all become highly suspicious of this "strange jedi" who appeared from nowhere with the offhand ability to withstand a power that even Cella Poliani's gifts have not been able to defeat... especially when he "accidentally" sends her off to the nasty world of Kessel. At this point Yaoksi, Nassy and Matt set out to rescue her. Meanwhile, from Khar Delba Graysith sends her adept, Shayla, to watch over the developments on Sullust. Shayla's info smuggler background gets the better of her; while planning all along to yank "Galen's" baby as soon as it is born and bring it to Graysith, she meets with Rean and begins speaking with him, despite Gray's gentle warnings to stay at a distance from him. Enraged that this is happening, Dark Lord Roan reaches out through the All and yanks her back to Khar Delba, instructing Graysith to kill her. Gray refuses, instead taking her to a hidden planet of ancient Sith Devices (read "Wrinkle in Time" thread in SW Universe; it is rather important) where she tells her that here she will finally find it within herself to master the All. She then places a chronotic shield (see descriptions) about the planet, one no one can remove other than Shayla herself, and departs back to Khar Delba. There she waits to have her own baby, unaware that her pregnancy is entirely false, and that her child is growing in her sister's body. (Both Galen's and Gray's children would be naturally strong in the All, instead of having to find the necessary balance between "good" and "evil," and willingness to act in EITHER case, necessary otherwise to command it. See "The All" in character descriptions. But that is why these babies are so important.) Meanwhile, more evil is afoot. Roan sends his demonic familiar, Maladius, to Yavin IV to grab little Thea, who has finally gotten back after being dragged to Khar Delba when the jedi tried to "save" Shayla. In a completely surprise move, he takes her through the All to the incoming Abaddonis, as a "gift" and proof of commitment to join forces with him. Abaddonis accepts this, and through the All Master Rean hears Thea's cry of terror. He manages to find her aboard Abaddonis's ship (in intergalactic space) but his rescue effort fails and he is himself killed by Abaddonis. Meanwhile, en route to joining with Yaoksi's rescue mission on Kessel, Galen finally has her baby. She no sooner has it when Maladius strikes again, once more bringing this infant to Abaddonis. Before departure Galen is shown the horns growing on the halfling baby's forehead; she then figures her own baby must be on Khar Delba. Frantic to find her, she and Terrin decide to return to the Bounty Hunter's world, hoping that Galen's former Sith ship Jester II has been taken there by Quee Varsek (see an ooooold thread, "Khym Magroo" in SW Universe for background; this was the story of her involvement with the bounty hunter Sorben Tarnus, the father of her child). They hope this ship will give them an edge in rescuing their child from the Sith, who they assume (correctly) to have hold of her. Suddenly, Admiral Actar, who has been quietly building fleets in the far corners of the Galaxy and even more quietly positioning them appropriately, strikes. He attacks and overcomes Coruscant, he attacks Yavin IV, and many other integral planets in the Universe. Alerted to this threat, Aelvedaar takes all remaining Sith supporters to the very planet where Jharmeen was changed to Graysith (see "Morniie Alantiie" in SW Universe) -- all except Roan, who mysteriously has disappeared along with Maladius. ((Khar Delba is protected by a chronotic shield while they are gone.)) There much is revealed to Graysith: that three Sith Brothers (Aelvedaar, Roan, and Rean) were needed to guide the Sith civilization in the All when it was resurrected by Graysith's child with Wicked, the original product of "light-dark" union. However, as that child has been destroyed by Galen's action, the combined strength of Galen's baby and Gray's new one would be enough; thus the switch to keep Gray's infant safe until born. No harm would come to it amidst their enemies, and they could easily snag it back. BUT Roan has shown his traitorous side; he actually switched the babes so HE could more easily snag it back and send it to Abaddonis, figuring with their combined strengths (his, Abaddonis' forces, and the inherent strength of little ShaRhylla) they would easily overcome the Galaxy. Aelvedaar also reveals that Roan is NOT the original Wicked, but deceived Gray so as to impregnate her. Shocked, hurt and enraged, Graysith leaves the ancient and dead Sith city of Prhinnchatka, where they are hiding. Followed by her Adept and her tuk'ata, she heads out across the desolate surface, heading to where she had been transformed from "Jharmeen" into "Graysith." En route, she runs into the mysterious Krath Prophet, who once more is quite enigmatically telling her of her future. And who knows where we'll go from here...? Maybe you will help in determining our direction...??? [ 06-17-2002 10:52 AM: Message edited 1 time, lastly by Graysith ] -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

After being sidetracked from Azrakel by the briefly mysterious appearance of Veren Mechanica, (who at first strove to destroy the Jedi Cella Poliani aboard Terrin's ship, Hornett but failed... and after battling with Yaoksi and his bunch and injuring his corvette, Devil-May-Care,) Graysith, Shayla and M'wonBo'o take off in the last remaining Sith ship from the ancient archeological site, heading to the mysterious and TOTALLY UNCHARTED world of Korriban, the capitol world of the Ancient Sith. There she hopes to tap into the focusing Dark Side strength, so as to be able to sense where her daughter has been taken.Meanwhile, a ghost has arisen from Galen's past. She and Terrin (et. al.) travelled to another hidden world, that of the bounty hunter guilds, there to meet with Administrator Seus, who heads the most elite guild on that world (Tavlorean guild) of which Galen's old love, Sorben Tarnus, was top hunter. She hopes to find her old Sith ship, Jester II, which was brought into their safekeeping, and use some of its mysterious power to try and rescue her daughter, who she senses is on Khar Delba. (All-shielded, unbeknownst to her.) But there she is unexpectedly kidnapped by none other than Sorben Tarnus himself, who has not been back to the Guild since Galen left him over a year ago. He has been out hunting for her... using up his funds... then suddenly and mysteriously coming into credits at the "behest" of the nasty old Dark Jedi, Darth Desolist (with his lackey Gravin Dark), two more ghosts from Galen's past. (see "Khym Magroo" thread in SW Universe forum, topic waaay over 45 days old....) This bad boy wants Galen for reasons undisclosed at this time, but in the words of Sorben, "It ain't pretty, babes." However, Sorben still claims to love Galen, and offers her a chance to escape from it all with him... if she will prove she still loves him by marrying him. Forced between a rock and a hard place, Galen accepts his marriage proposal which is not long forthcoming. Sorben hurries them off to Ord Mantell, where they are married. And Terrin and crew are chasing after them in his yacht, ZZ'shzq, following every lead available to him and his companion Shawn Petrolu, info scouted up and provided by their two vast and expansive companies: Eagle Enterprises and Stargazer Corporation. -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

OK, here we go: a MUCH-NEEDED update. For the sake of brevity I am not going to put all the thread titles in here; the reader can be directed within as well as at the end of each thread as to where who is going. Begin with Morniie Utuliie in the Sith/Jedi forums, and hop to Morniie Alantiie in CSWU. Main story: Too much has occurred to go into great detail. In brief: after much travail, Graysith finds her daughter... only to discover to her grief that ShaRhylla has taken after her father, Dark Lord Roan. (Roan had taken Rhylla to the cloners on Kamino to advance her in age to 15... but she is far in appearance and mentality and bearing from being an "adolescent.") In the process of her promise to help her sister Galen find her own daughter -- later to have been discovered safe in Phrinnchatka with Aelvedaar -- we are introduced to a new character: Recinis. A Sith warrior from a time prior to Aelvedaar's, he has been sent into hibernation to await the time when he would awaken to protect one he only knew as The Chosen One. Eventually he and Graysith fall in love and marry according to Sith tradition; he is then revealed as being the true heir to the Dark Lord of the Warrior clan, which he takes back in a confrontation with Roan in the Valley of the Lords. She and Recinis have a son, Jharu, destined to be the next Dark Lord of the Warrior clan. They are currently alone together on the secret Sith world Korris'ian. Galen meanwhile has suffered much, being chased after by her old love Sorben Tarnus, who first was hired to snag her and bring her to Roan. However, he switches rontos in midstream, siding with Admiral Actar, and eventually takes her to him. Actar frees her, but then orders Sorben to hunt her down and kill her; he does so (apparently) but only succeeds in killing clones of Galen and her baby (she managed to wrangle their creation from the Kaminoans). His payment? A secured position at Actar's side, where he will act as his Chief of Security with nearly as much power at his disposal as Swatzi, who is Actar's long-standing partner. Now convinced that once again she is an unsafe person for anyone she loves to be with, Galen leaves Terrin (whom she has married) and sets off with Darra, finally running into a smuggler by the name of Flac and his huge walking carpet of a sidekick, Malf. They take off for Naboo, to hide a bit in an underwater Gungan city. Terrin meanwhile, grief-stricken, believes that Galen has gone to Coruscant; he travels there with his crewman Jasyn, to try to negotiate her release. He and Jasyn are summarily arrested by Actar, and flung into a highly secured cell, where they remain at the time of this update. ShaRhylla, who has inherited the All from her mother and Sith magick from her father, has meanwhile been seduced by the pure essence of evil: Entaris, who has taken over the old form of Graysith's first love, Darth Wicked. In the inter-dimensionality of the Darker Realms he completes her transition into his counterpart of evil, and through them two Twin Daughters of Darkness are born: Allaria and IllaAnda. These their dark parents plan to use as pawns to not only wreak havoc upon sentients everywhere, but to foil the plans of ex-Dark Lord Roan who, now sans Sith magick but still in command of the All, has his own plans in the making to take over the galaxy with his daughter as its puppet queen. Little does he realize the extent of ShaRhylla's transformation in the Darker Realms.... Meanwhile, during all this, Aelvedaar has grown despondent: not understanding how the All can so easily reply to such wickedness as ShaRhylla, noting the harm coming to Graysith and others through his grandiose scheme to revive the Sith, he decides he has been wrong about it all. He commands the allies to split and depart from Phrinnchatka; in the process he removes the All from Shayla, and prevents her from remembering how to summon it. Everyone splits to their own places in the galaxy, with Shayla finally marrying Erik Kartan and becoming pregnant with his child, Zach. Aelvedaar remains behind in the secret buried city of Phrinnchatka, which has been overrun by ShaRhylla's demon hordes; he however has placed a chronotic shield about his own Inner Sanctum there, and is safe-- as is his Crystal Octahedron, Wicked's old sentient computer Jinn, and the defunct R2 unit of Shayla's (Izzy). M'wonBo'o and A'liya (tuk'ata's of Graysith and Shayla) and their two Noghri bodyguards, Nikk and Leev, are still hiding in the demon-run city, more than likely killing demons one by one by one.... Meanwhile, Actar's hold on the Galaxy is increasing logarithmically; he is basically in command of it. Here and there the usual Rebel factions arise, along with their attendant smugglers of goods and info. We find Aaron Barnes trying to determine the whereabouts of a General Davidov, and getting more and more immersed in the growing rebellion. Elsewhere an android threat lead by DATOR is growing, one which may or may not prove a great challenge to Actar and his forces. Several young jedi are introduced, travelling somewhat aimlessly about, trying to reunite as the Praxeum on Yavin IV is under Actar's thumb and basically has been disbanded. We find Thea finally rescued from Roans clutches, now a student under Shawn Petrolu's teaching, and on Tatooine seeking his former apprentice Loban... who up and fled in all the ruckus on K'eel Doba. Along the way the jedi Cella has been killed by a demon sent by Roan, and Yaoksi's love Naisre'len critically injured in the attack. He has taken Nassy back to her home world for medical care, and is currently waiting to see if she will recover or not. And in the middle of all this, Abaddonis is still in-coming with his Vong scouting force... and he is NOT a happy camper that his charges, the then-infant ShaRhylla and little Thea Morgan, have been snatched away from him. ((I'm sure at this point I have missed much and have omitted characters; please accept my apology for this if so, as it is not intended. If you have a particular update you wish to place here, send a BRIEF one to me via PM and I shall place it in this post. Thank you.)) -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

MAJOR UPDATE: As well as a very brief one: THE SITH HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO THIS TIME. See "To Wake the Dead" in "Jedi Praxeum/Sith Temple" forums, as well as the end of "The Darker Side of Midnight" in the same forum, and the thread "If Wishes Were Horses," in the "CSWU" forums. They occupy the planets of Khar Delba and K'eel Doba: Khar Delba, into which Aelvedaar has fled, holds the Temple of the Sorcerer's Clan. The Temple of the Warrior's Clan is in Phrinnchatka, on K'eel Doba... and now under the "tender" auspices of Dark Lord Roan. For it was through his secretive machinations that the Sith were finally retrieved from 4,000 years in the past: due to the enforced offspring of himself and Graysith which he "machined" with the help of kidnapped Kaminoan scientists and their lab, and hid away inside the Temple of the Warrior God, S'slan, on another part of K'eel Doba... which has been his secret hiding place all along. Roan is now reunited with his one love: his warrior-wife of four thousand years ago, Kreesha, who he had left when sent to the future, knowing she would die at the hands of the over-running Dark Jedi. His first agenda upon the return of his peoples, after his big reunion with Kreesha, is the murder of the Lord Rean who had come back from the past. This has just been accomplished at the time of this writing. Lord Recinis's home world of Koris'ian is still empty, having been abandoned at the time from which the Sith were returned, as their entire population fled back to their two primary worlds in reponse to the incoming Dark Jedi threat which ultimately destroyed their civilization. At least for four thousand years.... Korriban no longer holds the Valley of the Dark Lords of the Sith. Entaris and his alter-ego, ShaRhylla, using their dark powers, have sneaked in under the chronotic shield Aelvedaar placed about it, coming in from their other dimension, and have taken it back there with them. It is here that Entaris allows the three children of Roan and Graysith to implement the long-awaited return of the Sith... all three being killed in the process due to the unimaginable powers unleashed in the process. Other happenings: Captain Terrin Danner is dead, killed by a wild tuk'ata on Koris'ian after his mind was deranged due to the meddling powers of ShaRhylla when our little group found themselves travelling into the Darker Realms. Darra has been found.. lost again... and now refound and in the possession of her biological father, unbeknownst to Galen and Graysith and all. They have been chasing after Roan in the attempt to retrieve Darra, who they believe to have been advanced in age by the Kaminoans they know he was in cahoots with -- knowing this after their discovery of the destroyed lab in the Temple of S'slan -- but unbeknownst to him, Darra was first cloned, the clone advanced, and this used as a distraction leading them all away from Roan's true plan: that being the development of THREE OF FIVE children he engendered by forcibly taking Graysith and handing the developing life to the Kaminoan scientists. The cloned Darra, age 16, was then attacked by her father and killed by his ally Entaris, and left as a taunting message to the following group, who realize that they have been led astray... and time is too late for them to do anything. However, they all believe the dead Darra to be the REAL Darra... who, as mentioned, is still her original self: a baby, now in the hands of Sorben Tarnus and at the time of this writing en route back to Coruscant. Thea, once with Shawn on Tatooine, where he travelled seeking his padawan Loban Kenobi, has been given into safekeeping of Yaoksi Joao, who had come there to "pick up" a spice shipment once destined for Grakko The Hutt, appropriated by the Empire, and now has "disappeared." This is yet another of the woes Lt. General Tarnus must deal with: he sends the Jedi Paul Arakeen, who he had captured, to Tatooine with orders to expose the Hutts in a legal manner, that the Empire might take legal action against them and rid Tatooine of their yoke. This Arakeen agrees to do, as he will then be absolved of any complication in the death of his padawan, an event which has prompted him to leave the Jedi Order (before it fell before Actar) and roam the galaxy alone. Meanwhile, a new character joins us: SerKe Kri'faxx Da'San, a clone of the nephew of Dark Lord Rean. He sends the spy Minna Manth to find the coordinates of the shadowy Sith planet, Korriban, that he might there find clues to his past, as he knows only that he is the clone of a Sith. Minna somehow senses what he is, and lives in terrified fear that he has her "in his pocket," so to speak. And another dark threat arises: the mysterious Lord Alcron and his "silvitesh," who establishes a base upon the planet Kashyykk before then sending troops of his own to Tatooine in a surprise attack. The fleet Sorben had left there is beleaguered, sending transmissions back to Coruscant for help at the time of this writing. Meanwhile, the shaky Minna, meeting with Sorben, who she has worked for, is given the coordinates to the planets K'eel Doba and Khar Delba when she requests those of Korriban from him, knowing he has some shady connection to the Sith. Sorben, ever the crafty one, decides to comply, sending a fleet to that part of the galaxy in the hopes of discovering what is going on, and why Minna would desire such a strange thing of him. Little does he know his fleets are heading straight into a surprise: the suddenly populated worlds of the Sith. -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

UPDATE OK, folks, here we go. Short n' sweet.
Following through the threads, "To Wake the Dead," "Shall We Dance," "And The Band Played On," and "Here Be Dragons" in the Jedi/Sith forums, and in "Shattered Green" and "Curse of the Uninvited" in the CSWU forums, as well as "Return To Tomorrow" in the Empire/New Republic forums, the story takes an unexpected twist. Lord Aelvedaar has formally taken his adept and page, Ayelmaar, as his Chosen Son and Heir to the title of Dark Lord of the Sorcerer clan of the Sith. These two were investigating the claims of Serke as to whether he truly was clone of Suranas Rean's nephew... and thus the closest thing to heir to title of Weaponry clan the returned Sith have... when all hell breaks loose. On K'eel Doba, Roan has murdered the Suranas Rean and family brought back from the past. He stirs the Sith of that Warrior world against Aelvedaar and the need for having a Triad to lead them. Graysith and her allies ponder the fate of the Sith, knowing that Roan is in K'eel Doba and falsely proclaiming himself to be the Dark Lord of the Warriors... or so they believe. Convinced that Roan is planning to lead his warriors in a civil war against the Sorcerer and remnant Weaponry clan on Khar Delba, and that he will teach them how to use the All, Graysith opens a portal between the sister planets, and using the Claw of S'slan snatches Roan up into the elseness, further trapping both she and him there beneath a chronotic shield. However, the story takes an unexpected turn. Roan reveals to her that all is not as it seems, that it was not merely the Dark jedi who destroyed the Sith... but that they were enabled to do this by actions on the part of the joined forces of Aelvedaar, Recinis and Rean. Aelvedaar has been misleading Graysith and her allies all along; he wanted sole command of the Sith, and knew his best chance was to deprive them of their magicks by use of the All, through the Claw of S'slan, developed by Rean and thus easily overcome the warriors. This only weakened them to where they were unable to withstand the onslaught of the jedi; knowing this, he cast about in the future for Graysith, who's children -- by his emplacement of the All into her -- would have the strength to bring the civilization back to life at the moment of his choice (which would again be from when they were deprived of their magicks.) Knowing of an ancient branch-off in the line of inheritance of title of the Warriors, which led into Roan's family holding that claim, he casts back into time and finds the son of the challenger of the family Q'utaro. That son, Recinis, is put into sleep, knowing only he is to awaken in the future and serve (and fall in love with) Graysith, and will then join with Rean as honoring Aelvedaar as true leader over all the Sith. Roan, however, is no slouch. His spies inform him of this; he learns of the All, learns how to use it, and when time has come to a close four thousand years in the past he sends himself forward. There he finds and tries to woo Graysith from Aelvedaar (an old thread from a year ago, begins in "Return To Khar Delba" in the Sith/Jedi forums) but fails. Recinis does find, falls in love with, and marries Graysith. And in the landsliding events which come on the heels of that, Roan has indeed brought back the Sith... but from a point in time before Aelvedaar deprived them of their magickal abilities. Graysith is shocked to hear of this... but logic (and certain undeniable facts, you gotta read, heh) dictates the seeming truth in his words. She goes back to Khar Delba... to find the sudden arrival of Loban Kenobi, who under the influence of the great evil which has plagued him on and off for months has placed all that evil in the body of Shayla's unborn son, knocking Erik unconscious in the process. As for the others: Aelvedaar has disappeared, refusing to help... and Recinis has taken Jharu off-planet at Aelvedaar's command, to keep the young heir safe from harm. Aelvedaar states that Roan's mate might see Graysith's abduction of Roan as an act of war, and absolutely no harm must come to him. Knowing how she has been misled, Graysith enters into the Darker Realms to fulfill a promise. There she takes the evil she removed from Shayla's child, and uses it to strengthen her so she can likewise reach out to leech all the evil Entaris has placed in the body of her daughter by Roan, ShaRhylla. Emptied of what has been sustaining her, Rhylla falls apparently lifeless; Graysith uses all that evil and launches it at the body of Wicked, causing the spirit of Entaris to momentarily depart from it. In that moment she destroys Darth Wicked's body, removing the shell the evil Entaris was inhabiting. Enraged, he flees; Roan rescues an exhausted Graysith and the empty ShaRhylla from the Darker Realms, and brings them back to K'eel Doba. Now realization strikes the Chosen Daughter. Her destiny is fulfilled. She cannot return to Khar Delba; her once-Sire would destroy or imprison her. She cannot remain with Roan, for the matter of challenge to entitlement places her in jeopardy among the Sith there -- not to mention personal danger from his wife, Kreesha. Knowing she can no longer hamper Shayla with her presence, for that young woman has a husband and child of her own to now think of, Graysith does the only thing she can do. She takes her Sith fighter, Chosen One, given freely to her by Roan... and disappears from everyone with the tuk'ata M'wonBo'o and Ghrr'lanDrr... until the gods should ordain that the missing Recinis, who she firmly feels still loves her, shall come find her and rescue her from her self-imposed exile on a yet unnamed world. Meanwhile, on Tatooine, Shawn Petrolu and Minna Manth have crossed paths with the ex-Jedi Paul Arakeen... and on Coruscant, Sorben Tarnus has come home with his baby girl. Galen, Flac and Malf have boarded Hornett where they are met by Jasyn; after a brief time together Flac departs to learn what he can of the Sith... and Galen takes Eagle and simply disappears, trying to come to terms with her own grief. ((Here’s the annual update, folks!!Much has happened, so this will be sans threads and extremely abbreviated. In regard to characters who have “popped in and out” durning this time, nothing shall be mentioned. Only the direction in which the primary storyline has traveled will be given here.)) Graysith went to Dagobah to impose a combination sabbatical/exile upon herself. There a vision shows her the truth concerning the Dark Lords in her life: Roan, Aelvedaar, Recinis and Wicked. All bearing weaponry behind their backs while smiling falsely at her. She also finds out she was pregnant with a last child by Recinis, but aborts. To save this child, she takes it to the timelessness of Elsewhere and wraps it in the love she had for Recinis that it might remain alive and warm there forever. Thus she loses her love for her husband and lord. (Ok, see “Everything that Grows” in the CSWU forums for the unfolding of this short side-story.)
Back she goes to a now Sith-inhabited K’eel Doba where, because of the tattoo upon her wrist given to her by Lord Recinis, she challenges Lady Kreesha to battle for entitlement as Dark Lady of the Warriors. She wins, humiliating the Sith Lady, who disappears into exile. Graysith then takes her place at Roan’s side as the Dark Lady of the Warriors, hating Roan, with him hating her in turn. He wants only to eliminate the Sith Triad altogether and lead the Sith – and eventually the entire known universe – by himself, and has taken the first steps by turning K’eel Doba against the thought of triumvirate leadership. They answer only to him. Meanwhile, enter Phalomir/Panthar/Thoran. Briefly, Phalomir is a Sith Lord coming from a possible future where he had married Graysith but misused the awesome power of the All. Gradually it is revealed that he too was nothing more than a pawn in the hands of evil more powerful than any yet known: the slippery and elusive Master. (From this future, in which the Sith are competent All-users, comes new weaponry from that clan, devices by which the All may be shackled so as not to be further misused. See Eye of R’lous and Finger of R’lous in descriptions.) Becoming aware of what he really meant to those using him, he denounced the “destiny” he thought he had, and seeks only to win the love of Graysith who, other than what he has told her, of course has no foreknowledge of what is possibly yet to be. Phalomir’s arrival comes in the form of the archeologist Panthar Dantares, in whom the spirit of Phalomir… as well as that of Sith-friend-turned-traitor, Thoran… has been implanted. Along the way magicks are wielded, and spirits returned to bodies… with the sole success being that of Phalomir. Thoran ends up in Panthar’s body, which ends up being killed (Thoran escapes as a shade, now) and Panthar winds up in the body of a Sith. Meanwhile on Khar Delba, where Shayla and Erik and others have gone in friendship to the newly arrived Sith, comes the announcement that Shayla is pregnant; her child is aborted early due to trauma to her, but is rescued by the arrival of Aeylmaar, the Chosen Son of Aelvedaar. He places the fetus in a Sith incubator where it is kept alive, in stasis (not allowed to mature). He orders the parents to leave Khar Delba as they are not Sith, and only Sith may stay there. Not understanding, Shayla and Erik do so. And bit by bit Shayla begins having flashbacks of a childhood vision she had concerning a horned Sith who she cannot quite make out… Back to K’eel Doba. Graysith has rescued her daughter ShaRhylla from the clutches of Entaris (described in the previous post); this daughter lays low, recuperating from her ordeal. Grayith also harbors Galen’s daughter, JhinDarra, having stolen her from Sorben to then take to the Kaminoans, where she was aged to her early 20’s. Darra lives in the Temple of the Warriors, and believes ShaRhylla to be her sister, and Graysith to be her mother. During this time, when Phalomir came to the Temple in his true body (found on Khar Delba, regained with the help of Shayla, and where she gained the trauma causing her to lose her son) Recinis proves to be rather noncommittal toward Graysith, unable to understand why she cannot love him but must learn to do so all over again. Frustrated, he pulls away; equally angered, she leaves him, divorcing him and announcing herself to be the Dark Lady of the Warriors and lone ruler of them. This is easily achieved by the fact of the tattoo upon her wrist… as well as by the fact that Kreesha is killed by powers bursting out from the Eye carried in Phalomir, and then Roan is killed as well. (He is not entirely out of the picture, but exist as a shade in the Darker Realms.) But before he is killed, he secrets Galen away in a Kaminoan lab he had hidden away underground on Korriban. Galen had come to K’eel Doba seeking a Sith ship to use in the attempt at retrieving her daughter, who she still believed to be a baby and on Coruscant in the hands of Sorben. Time passes unmarked: no Roan, no nothing… other than the unspeakable (and not revealed at this time) acts the scientists were forced to perform on her. Galen is finally joined by the Kaminoan scientist, Rhua Ki, who assists her in escaping from the lab. They gain the surface, have no real idea where they are, but discover the once “Valley of the Dark Lords,” now ripped from its place in a Korriban canyon, and hidden in the Darker Realms. Through the roiling black rift of nothingness, they enter into the Darker Realms, and there are confronted by Roan… and meet up with the shade of Terrin, who Roan managed to snag and use as bait to gain Galen. In succession too rapid and convoluted to go into here, suffice it to say that the majority of the characters manage to get together and come to an agreement to hunt for the missing Galen. They all depart from K’eel Doba in a Sith warship… which first mysteriously pops out of hyperspace right next to a super-nova-ing sun. They manage to escape as Graysith places a chronotic shield about the ship; a shipboard explosion follows releasing… something which possesses Graysith and removes all but her very earliest memories of Aelvedaar and Darth Wicked. Via Sith magicks Phalomir releases his spirit to spy on Graysith; she retaliates by sending that body into the Darker Realms, then strands Shayla, Erik, Jasyn and Matt on Korriban. As time progresses, various and sundry portals develop here and there, and people pop in and out of them from one place to another… all at the probably underhandedness of Lord Aelvedaar. At the time of this update, Galen, Shayla, Erik and Panthar are on Khar Delba, where they have just been assisted in “escaping” from the temple by none other than Aeylmaar. Phalomir, Graysith, Rhua Ki and a mysterious newcomer, Rykounagin, have just departed the Darker Realms, with Phalomir once again bearing the implanted spirit of Thoran in his mind, and the newcomer carrying that of Terrin Danner… …both being placed there via Sith magick combined with the All, and done so by the spirit of Telion de’ R’lous, who inhabits the awful weapon relinquished to Graysith by Phalomir, lest he grow in power, misuse it, and end up causing her death in the future. Oh yes, and now we have poor Jasyn and Matt still stranded on the surface of Korriban... while other Eagle Enterprises employees, led by Aaron Barnes and assisted by Shayla's brother and jedi, Shawn Petrolu, try to figure out what the heck happened to everybody... ...while deep in the space between galaxies, Abaddonis's little armada has come another year closer.... There you have it, folks. For further reading, go to the last threads mentioned in the post prior to this one, and follow the OOC’s. They will lead you in more detail through the maze of events I have presented in this long overdue update! TIMELINE AND EVENTS CLARIFICATION:The following is being put here since we have some new role players onboard, as well as some returning, and some issues have been brought up. This is for the benefit of all role players. Through much of this story, Aelvedaar was seen as a "good guy," Gray's Sire and Mentor, yadda yadda yadda. Fairly recently he has proven to be a snake in the grass. Here in quick synopsis is explanation thereof: 4,000 years in the past, Aelvedaar knew about the All, and was beginning to learn how to use it. Via his sorcery, and initial knowledge of the All, when outlaying fringes on Koris'ian were attacked by Dark Jedi, he was able to look into the future and see a battle royale with the Dark Jedi. Being the coldly calculating guy that he is, he moved the populace of Koris'ian to Khar Delba (to thus more closely keep tabs on what weaponry and defense devices they might create) using the threat of the incoming Dark Jedi in combination with Koris'ian's remote location as justification for the move. Wanting to command all the Sith, he used the future attacks of the Dark Jedi to his own advantage. IN THE PAST, he blocked the magickal ability of his people (by augmenting his magick with the little he had come to learn of the All), essentially making them defenseless against the Dark Jedi, who slaughtered them. He knew he would be killed too... but he had his "Ace in the hole," Graysith, who he found in the future, placing the kernal of All knowledge/use within her. Then he let himself be killed, knowing she would bring him back, knowing then that through her the Sith would be resurrected again -- BUT FROM A TIME OF HIS OWN CHOOSING: STILL WITH THEIR MAGICKS GONE. Then he would easily take over as being the one Imperial Dark Lord over all the Sith. Roan, the Dark Lord of the Warriors, learned of this, and managed to find a way that he would "survive" to the "now." He then used his magickal abilities -- augmented with the All, for all the Dark Lords were aware of this and were learning how to use it -- to foil Aelvedaar's plans, using Gray as she had been intended by Aelvedaar to resurrect the Sith population... BUT FROM A TIME PRIOR TO WHEN AELVEDAAR HAD TAKEN AWAY THEIR MAGICK. The Sith are now in "our time" fully equipped with their unblocked, inherent magicks. From the Sith's viewpoint, not many other than the high-level mucketty mucks know they are in the future. Dark Lords would have had all information, Captains, Lieutenants and so on would have that which was deemed they should know. The Koris'ian populace in general would have an awareness that SOMETHING was attacking them, they're not certain what, and that they were moved to Khar Delba for their own safety until the threat passed... remember, the majority of the Sith population have no idea they are not in their "normal" time. They wouldn't even know of the blockade around Khar Delba and K'eel Doba, for up to this point, no one other than Aeylmaar has taken off in a Sith ship to go anywhere. Sooo... while most have the knowledge that something is amiss, only a select few know of the Dark Jedi threat (the initial attack was on Koris'ian, and at first, of course, in "hit and fade" fashion, testing out the opponent's strengths), and very, very few know that they are in the future at all. SOO-OO-OOO: from the objective outsider's viewpoint, considering multiple timelines happening: 1. Original "meant to be" timeline: The Sith battle the Dark Jedi. Both are fairly evenly matched. Few know of the All; Aelvedaar has tried his best to keep it mum. As the timeline progresses, we would probably have a "now" in which the Dark Jedi and the Sith are the two major powers, and everyone else just struggles to get along, not wanting to draw attention from either one. Graysith would have just been Jharmeen Jhin'Dar, Galen just Galen, her sister, her father a professor, never killed. The Vong are en route. 2. The altered timeline: The Sith were destroyed by the Dark Jedi... later to be resurrected. The Dark Jedi then took what little they could glean from the Sith ruins and applied that magick to their own dark force use: "Sith lightning," and so on. This is our current timeline. The Vong are en route. [ 11-15-2004 12:17 AM: Message edited 1 time, lastly by Graysith ] -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

Yes, the second timeline, the "altered" one, is the current timeline we are all in. (Although to all characters in play it's just normal time.)The Dark Jedi probably destroyed the Sith to prevent their being a threat to them and their own plans for galactic dominion. The Sith history goes back thousands of years; they were the race in charge of the galaxy, and used their magickal powers to stay that way. They were neither totally benevolent or malevolent, just "in power." The Jedi began rising then, and those wanting to use their powers for their own selfish reasons fragmented to become the Dark Jedi. Leaving the early Jedi Order, they came upon the Sith worlds, realized the magicks the people had, and wanted that magick to augment their own dark use of the force. So they attacked and overcame the Sith. But they were only able to glean a little bit of the Sith magick to use themselves ("Sith lightning" for example). Triumphant, they named themselves Sith, and over the years the memory of the race disappeared; to further confuse things, most of the inhabitants of our little galaxy here still call the dark jedi "Sith," because all but a very few, the real Sith don't exist. To some, the Sith are a myth, a legend. To the tiniest group of all, the Sith are real.... -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

((Ok, here is what I HOPE will be a short n' sweet clarifying update to bring everyone up to speed....)) Ok, things are pretty much as they were, Galaxy-wise. Lt. General Sorbun Tarnus still "runs things," and is currently on the SSD Relentless involved in the blockade of the Sith worlds. The thread Blockades and Such in the RP HQ informs the reader of what worlds are blockaded, and by what ships commanded by who.
The original Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV is still gone, gone, gone, having been LOOOONG ago "disbanded" by Admiral Actar. Lt. General Tarnus has given his official sanction to the creation of a "New Jedi Praxeum," on Tattooine... of course easily watched over by the Imperial Troops since Tatooine is a blockaded planet. The only goings-on in the Sith worlds concern internal intrigue: Phalomir has turned out to carry the Tattoo of Entitlement to the Armorer clan, having been given this by the spirit of Rean. In his memories, he was also Dark Lord of the Sorcerers, and in an effort to save the Sith from the future Vong invasion they made him DL of the warriors as well to try to unify the race. That's if his "memories" of being from the future hold as true -- remember, he is from the future. Meanwhile, Aelvedaar has sent the Cult assassins (Rykounagin and Sa'kalishalaas; the latter is captured by Lt. Gen Sorben Tarnus and is currently in the brig on Relentless) to kill Graysith; this is overheard by Aeylmaar, who heads out to warn her. He simply cannot believe that his adoptive father would be so cruel, to do this to Graysith, who was his Chosen One and central to the Sith being resurrected. But-- thus is Aelvedaar's darkness really revealed: he was using her -- and others -- all along. Graysith, at this point, is involved with the reunited group: Jasyn, Matt, Shayla, Phalomir, Panthar, Erik, Galen and Terrin, in trying to find Aeylmaar, who has sent them a communication that he HAD to meet with them on K'eel Doba (concerning the contracted assassination attempt on her life). She is also needing to find proof that Aelvedaar is turning out to be a "bad apple," which everyone else is convinced of. Terrin Danner's spirit was "discovered" in the Darker Realms during one of the group's soirees there; it was taken into the body of Phalomir, brought to Korri'sian, and there via Sith magickal arts reinstated in his body (formerly preserved, in turn, by the Sith Honor Burial Magicks implemented by Recinis when Terrin died at the claws of a wild tuk'ata.) So Terrin Danner is alive and well again, unbeknownst to EE Enterprises. This unnatural act, however, prompted the intervention of the mysterious "That Which Is," a kind of "universal game-master," who didn't like that the natural state of things was so blithely meddled with. (The dead being brought back to life). It halted time until the group could figure out how to obey it's suggestion that this sort of thing must never happen again; through a joint effort and using the discovered technology of the Sith that sent Korri'sian off into its own orbit (it had been a moon of Korriban), they sent the entire system into the Elseness to prevent anyone from being able to bring the dead back to life again. During this side-story, That Whis Is noticed the All-channeling Claw of S'slan on Graysith's finger, and appropriated it. (Role players should be very aware of what might happen at any time, hehe, should the "game" of the "galaxy" get too far-fetched... ) ShaRhylla is, bit by bit, returning to her nasty self; old memories from her time in the Darker Realms are rising. She implements a deception to show the Sith that Lady Graysith has been murdered, making her the Dark Lady of the Sith. Darra, meanwhile, is living quietly in the Temple of the Warriors, still thinking that Graysith is her mother and Rhylla her sister. No one outside of Graysith knows of her being advanced in age. ShaRhylla might-- and more than likely doesn't care. Aelvedaar, disgusted with Aeylmaar's traitorous act of rushing off to warn Gray et al, has taken Rykounagin as his new Chosen Son, and has sent him to gain the mysterious Finger of R'lous -- which is inhabited by the spirit of T'elion, a dark, mysterious, and powerful entity. The Finger was originally snatched by Rykounagin in an earlier failed attempt to steal it, retaken by Graysith, then unbeknownst to her taken by a possessed Sith warrior, who was killed by Rhylla. Rhylla then held the Finger of R'lous... until only recently, when it was finally appropriated by the successful Rykounagin. The Finger was then taken, via the All, by Aelvedaar, and is now with him in the Temple of the Sorcerers on Khar Delba. Rhylla does still have in her possession, currently protected by a powerful combination of Sith Magick/All, the Blade of Chaos, which in turn is inhabited by the spirit of an old Sith sorcerer, Ragorian. Rhylla has requested that Ragorian be her consort, telling him that a body will be gained for him to inhabit once more. He has consented, but at this time is still in the Blade, which hangs in the Grand Dining Hall in the Temple of the Warriors on K'eel Doba. Abaddonis is still approaching with his Vong scouting party. Finally, coming into the Galaxy are the characters of Major Konig, a jedi who has managed to gain quite a few powerful ships to his name, the young and knowledge-seeking Sarisa Ker, the light-side wielding Kitiana and the mysterious Xenn. In an apparent attempt to remain unknown to the Imperial forces now led by Lt. General Tarnus (Actar still being in hidden "retirement) they are beginning training together in the hopes of creating a free Jedi Praxeum (See Return to Sullust and The Smuggler's Moon, both in the "CSWU" forums. Ok, if anyone else has anything major that needs to be mentioned here, PLEASE let me know and I'll add it! I'm sure I've left out tons....))

Hehe... Ok, as far as I can tell, Admiral Actar swept in and just did a basic military coup: he destroyed the Senate, murdered all the senators; he "buttoned up" the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin IV, and it is assumed that the attendant jedi were killed. (All the above was written in ONE post ~ yeah, we were all kinda shocked, but Actar was written by the former administrator here, and he did this to "shake things up a bit.") It is further assumed that a few jedi escaped the holocaust by the fact that they were not at the Praxeum when the coup occurred; Shawn Petrolu and Shayla Petrolu-Kartan are two prime examples. (The characters themselves were being role played in another part of the galaxy when Actar pulled his move on us.) Anyway, it is therefore assumed that any characters who are Jedi Masters were probably also not on Yavin IV when the takeover happened, and these kinda keep a low profile to avoid any Imperial entanglements. Lt. General Sorben Tarnus has sanctioned the creation of a new Praxeum, to be built on Tatooine, which is currently under Imperial blockade. So far no writers have followed through with the creation of this Praxeum. -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!

This is role play. You go with the flow.Perhaps you'll find out when and if the Praxeum gets built. Anyway, Actar's intent was not to be a bloody tyrant. His coup was relatively "peaceful." His goal is galaxy-wide peace and security. That was the mandate I got from the former administrator. IE: His troops do NOT go about killing innocents; they police systems to maintain law and order. And why would YOU suppose that Tarnus would allow a Praxeum to be built in a designated place...? Anyway, as I said at the start: this is role play. This is not collaborative storytelling. One will not know what happens in a particular situation until the role play gets going about it. -------------------- I ride the Stormcloud and the Night!
