She climbed out of bed and then listened to... Nothing. It was too quiet. Alexis quickly went down the hall to the living area and stopped to listened again.

Then as if someone had turned on the stereo a loud wailing could be coming from the room next to hers. She went in and stepped over the now messy floor with toys and scooped her arms in to cry the now crying baby.

"Hey girl, what's wrong? Mommey is here." She said.

the baby started crying, but continued to sniffle.

"It's ok. Mommey is here. Are you hungry?"

Alexis took the baby down the hall past the living room which was still messed up after the Imperials had searched her house. The living room was the only room she had yet managed to fix back. She entered the kicthen and gave the baby a bottle.

"There you go. Much better." She held the baby and fed her while her mind drifted off.

Her mind drifted to where her brother was and what he was doing, to Dash and where he was and if he was ok.

Dash where are you? please come home. she thought to herself.

At this thought the baby started to sniffle again.

"It's ok Faith. Daddy will be home soon."

After Faith finshed eating, Alexis put her back to bed and then sat in the rocking chair next to her crib and rocked herself to sleep.
