((From "Expecting the Unexpected" in the CSWU))

Several days had passed since Kitiana landed on the surface of the planet and was taken to the Jedi Praxeum. It was a wonderful place full of knowledge that she quickly took to learning. Xenn had taught her some things she recently read about, but not in the depth she now read them in. Several things conflicted with what she was taught as a child, yet many things coincided. She relished the fact that she was able to learn as much as she wanted in a day without somebody telling her what she had to know. At the same time, she hated being couped up. She was restless, wanting to go out and do something besides learn. Her head felt heavy, and she knew she needed a break from reading and listening.

The humaniod female walked down the halls, which were almost completely bare. General Ahem was right; there were very few force sensitives at the Praxeum, and very few people to teach those who still needed teaching. Of course, she knew she was far from being ready to teach, and probably needed some guidance herself. Of course, that was if she wanted to consider herself a Jedi. At the present, she was content with learning who she was, and being free to do what she wanted (within certain limits). She wanted to get out and do something; well not just something, but she wanted to duel with someone. With her father she dueled several times a week, and now...she barely ever used her lightsabers. Her fingers moved, and she found herself holding the familiar weapon in her hand. After a moment she clipped it back to her black belt and continued down the hall. Perhaps if she called General Ahem and told him she wished to help, he could give her something to do.

Kitiana made it to her quarters without many interruptions. Mostly, people nodded a polite greeting, but not much else was said. Nobody really knew who she was, and although everyone seemed nice enough, she tended to keep to herself. Friends weren't very important to her; since she was a child the only 'friend' she had was her father. She was used to being alone, and that suited her fine...most of the time.

As she entered she was pleased to find everything as she had left it, though she really didn't expect anyone to invite themselves in; espeically not here. A small light flickered on as she sat at a small desk; which was only big enough to hold the appropriate equipment, and leave room for her to work. Taking the datapad out that General Ahem had handed to her with the frequency on it to contact him. She hoped he wouldn't be overly busy as to ignore her. She keyed in the frequency on the small communications system.

"Genearl Ahem this is Kitiana, do you read me?"
