I was first introduced to the Star Wars Galaxy with the release of Return of the Jedi. At the time I was only three or four so I can't really pinpoint my feelings when I was first introduced to it. The story was just engrained into memory. The impact of the movie itself hadn't really made any indentation in my early childhood. In fact i was more captivated with Transformers & G.I. Joe. However, at about the age of twelve, my older brother and I started to have these all night movie marathon where we'd watch the whole trilogy and he'd explain different stuff about the characters. I still have fond memories of those times. In 1995 my brother headed off to college and the nights of Star Wars had ended. But, the story and the characters still captivated me. So I decided to check out other avenues of the film, and started to research the behind the scenes work. It was then, when I found why I was so entranced by the saga. The story was great, but it was the art, and the design that really made a sticking point in my mind. If it hadn't been for Ralph McQuarrie or Joe Johnston I don't think I would have even bothered with the film. I'm happy to see that Doug Chaing and Ian McCaig continue to do an excellent job with the art design. If it weren't for these people I wouldn't still be devoting time to create and develop Coruscant Spaceport (http://www.coruscant-sp.com) which dedicates itself to the art of Star Wars, and promotes other people to open their mind and create new gateways into the Star Wars Universe.Randy Hutchinson Coruscant Spaceport ============== Programming Note: Next week's Webmaster Editorial is from Sirch (Chris Heilman) of Jedinet Humor
